So, here starts our questions.....!!!!
What is Lunar New Year...!!?
Yes you are right, it is a Chinese New Year.

It is based on the Luni Solar Chinese Calendar.

Normally a Chinese New Year falls on a full moon day between January 21 and February 20 of the English Calendar.
This year, it was on February 5, 2019 (Tuesday) and it is called as the YEAR OF PIG.
So, do you know How this new year is celebrated...!!?
Celebration of the day starts traditionally from the preceding evening of the year's first Day to the LANTERN FESTIVAL (February 19,2019 Tuesday), which is held on the 15th day of the year.
They usually celebrate the fest with some traditional practices like Cleaning their house thoroughly and decorating windows and doors with red paper cuttings and couplets. They believe that these practices bring in Good Fortunes, happiness, wealth and longevity. They express their happiness by lightning fire crackers and giving money in red paper envelops.
